I'm really sorry for whatever happened to you. I can only imagine how hard it would be to write after something like that. I don't blame you at all for taking a break.
But I hope I cheer you up at least a little bit by telling you that your fanfictions are my absolute favorites about Anne and Gilbert. They're the best I've ever read - so much so that I don't even really read any others any more. They pale in comparison. Your writing style is easy to read and enjoyable, and some of your writing is pure genuis. I can't tell you how hard I laughed after Charlie Sloane's proposal.

Oh, hon, I truly sorry for your heartache. I know of unrequited love, though not love lost. I know how hard and painful the former is, and I hope I have enough imagination to understand how much you must be hurting now. My many thougsand condolences, and all prayers and hope that things will improve.

I began re-reading "Blythe Spririt" this week, and happened to notice the promise of a third instalment at the bottom of one of the chapters, so I only just found this fic today. That's the reason for the late review. I do hope you manage to belt yourself to a chair for a bit and bang out a new chapter. As always, your Gil-voice is spot on--a droll foil to Anne's flightiness.

Oh why did you stop? This story has so much potential. Do pick it back up again! It's nice to see Gilbert and Anne finally being all couple-ly rather than the constant agony of not being on the same page with each other. So please continue. I will be watching out for the next chapter!

I thoroughly enjoyed your two previous stories, I really FELT for Gilbert, you know. Hopefully this will be as good. I am an Anne fan, and my favorite books were definately the first three. I never actually managed to get to when Anne and Gilbert were married. I took that I kept falling asleep whenever I opened Anne of Windy Poplars as a sign that I didn't need to read it. I loved the first three though. Even did a book report on the third. Unfortunately, I was in elementary school and it was an oral report, so, although I adored the book, it was a decidedly bad choice to do the report on. I really love how their are new conversations mixed in with Gilbert and Anne's interactions. I will have to look for Before Green Gables, as it sounds delightful. I really like your style of writing and look forward to reading more. I apologise for waiting until I had read the entire series to date to reveiw, but I am loathe to type more than one long review until I am completely finished with a story or group of stories. Update Soon.

Ahh one of my favourite authors! Anne of Green Gables is my fav book, and i was hirsting for more stories about them. These have been the best of any fanfiction yet! though i might add, the baby dying in that way... i almost went in the same way when i was born, a little creepy =P
