I never felt that Edward understood what Bella had gone through. Thanks for putting it into words so well!

Nice. As much as I hate how whiney Bella was when Edward left, I hate even more the fact that she seemed to recover so instantly the moment he came back. Some things, not even true love can do so quickly.

I call Edward and the vampire power of seduction! Sriously thouh, I loved this. Loved the storm metaphor. Loved Edwards angst.

The way you write is just...spectacular. I don't have any suggestions to make or any technical criticisms to give.

My ideas on the matter, though, are quite plentiful! I'm currently working on a piece where Edward is by Bella's bedside during her transformation. Like your piece, it's mostly inner dialogue. It has been VERY helpful to see how you have successfully managed to steer a piece like this with such little speaking.

I am mostly interested to see where you take the story from here. This was a very heavy chapter, and I know that it's Edward's nature to be melancholy, but I hope we see the joy, too. Bella feels whole again, and I'm excited to see how Edward makes that journey, too.

I really like that you've explored the hardships that Bella and Edward had to go through, because it's moments of realization and reflections like this that make their relationship stronger. This is something important that the series brushed off. The story was very well written and thoughtful, as Edward is a character who is always deep in thought (even if sometimes he seems stupid at times xP). Great story!

I have wanted someone to write about Bella's true physical and mental state when Edward came back. I think your thoughts are amazing and they really drew me in!

I am quite pleased to find someone else who thinks that Edward and Bella's relationship is not totaly perfect - because they never actually talk - and doesn't think that Stephenie Meyer is some sort of infallible demigod.

I think you got into Edward's head very well, and I think you chose a good scene/part to write. It always seemed like Edward's coming back and reconciliation was too brief considering the amount of pain he caused.

Wow... just wow. I absolutely adored that. You're right. SM really didn't go into the minutiae of Bella and Edward's relationship. You beautifully explored some of the complexity that occurs (or should occur) at the center of every healthy relationship. Kudos!
