I'm in quarantine for at least a week and needed a good story to send me to bed this not only fit the bill but made me cry for the happiness of Glorifindel's begetting day and the finding of his journal.

Very, very sweet. I enjoyed this one-shot a lot, since Glorfindel and the twins are my favourite characters, and I thank you for it.

Beautiful and poignant.

The interaction between the twins is spot on. Erestor, in his brief appearance, is believably stern on the outside, but soft-hearted underneath. Glorfindel's pleasure in the thoughtful gift, with all its associated memories is very moving.

Once again you manage to pack a lot of characterisation and plot into a one-shot - a vehicle which all too often lacks either.

You have such a gift for describing a scene. You mnade that dusty library come to life. I laughed out loud at Elrohir dropping a spider on his brother's head.

And what a thoughtful gift. I imagine Glorfindel is usually kind of hard to buy for. :-)

I love it! Although techincally Glorifindel of Gondolin and Glorifindel of Rivendell are two different people,as far as the books go anyway. Atlhough...hm It would very interesting if they were the same person er elf lol...Anywho I love it..very very nice...Its an interesting debate, like the whole do balrogs have wings or not? LOL
