Agena K. 2009-11-08 . chapter 1I'm in quarantine for at least a week and needed a good story to send me to bed this not only fit the bill but made me cry for the happiness of Glorifindel's begetting day and the finding of his journal.
Such a wonderful gift that Dan and Ro gave him. Wow
Such a wonderful gift that you gave me.
than's so much! * (10 stars)I'd give you all that you deserve but I'd run out of characters!

SecretlyInInk 2009-07-02 . chapter 1This story was quite touching.
Very good job. |
La-p'tite-tete 2009-03-10 . chapter 1Oh, that was so cute! ^^ I especially liked the last words. A really nice fic! |
 Ducky'sgirl4ever 2009-02-15 . chapter 1A great story. Very good. |
Windsurfbabe 2009-02-13 . chapter 1Very, very sweet. I enjoyed this one-shot a lot, since Glorfindel and the twins are my favourite characters, and I thank you for it. |
 PurpleHat 2009-02-12 . chapter 1Beautiful and poignant.
The interaction between the twins is spot on. Erestor, in his brief appearance, is believably stern on the outside, but soft-hearted underneath. Glorfindel's pleasure in the thoughtful gift, with all its associated memories is very moving.
Once again you manage to pack a lot of characterisation and plot into a one-shot - a vehicle which all too often lacks either. |
Elfinabottle 2009-02-11 . chapter 1You have such a gift for describing a scene. You mnade that dusty library come to life. I laughed out loud at Elrohir dropping a spider on his brother's head.
And what a thoughtful gift. I imagine Glorfindel is usually kind of hard to buy for. :-) |
Wraithlike 2009-02-11 . chapter 1Aw, that is just adorable. I loved the twin thing at the beginning.
"Erestor thinks you should have stopped me."
Hilarious. But it was very sweet, especially at the end. I love Glorfindel. A really lovely idea, very well executed.
GO YOU!! |
 moonshine4488 2009-02-11 . chapter 1Aw...very sweet. I just love Glorfindel and twin moments :) |
CAH 2009-02-11 . chapter 1What a sweet thing for them to do. And isn't it true that one usually picks up what's nearest and not what's most important? Thank goodness she picked that up-at least Glorfindel has one tie to his Gondolin left.
It's a wonderful little story Jay! And a great way to begin a morning!
Will we ever know just what the terrible two did to bring the wrath of Erestor down upon them? |
Lady Ambreanna 2009-02-10 . chapter 1Very sweet! Thank you so much for the story! ;) |
JastaElf 2009-02-10 . chapter 1THAT is positively wonderful! What a great, sweet tale--and SO likely to have happened! And this is just the most wonderful pair of sentences:
"people snatched up whatever was nearest to hand when we fled, not necessarily the most vital things. And somehow – despite everything – it came here.”
So true... so likely... and just wonderful, as are all the things you write. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!! |
Slayer3 2009-02-10 . chapter 1 I love it! Although techincally Glorifindel of Gondolin and Glorifindel of Rivendell are two different people,as far as the books go anyway. Atlhough...hm It would very interesting if they were the same person er elf lol...Anywho I love it..very very nice...Its an interesting debate, like the whole do balrogs have wings or not? LOL
