i'm new to this fandom so I'm not overly familiar with what's out there. But I effin' loved this story. It was sweet and eloquent and intense in parts and light in others. Astounding. Thank you for sharing.

The expansion on the charisma between Leon and Claire in this story came off as very natural to the characters. The overall setting & plot also made the whole piece all that much more enjoyable.

I've read a few of your other R.E. pieces and I have to say I've become a fan of your writing style. Keep up the great work!

What a wonderful find! I've been having a lot of trouble finding well written Claire/Leon fics but this definitely satisfied my craving. Good luck with your other stories!

This was...perfect. The word "balanced" comes to mind when I think back on it, on how the story and Claire and Leon's relationship developed. All the elements were so well put together. All the references to how their lives have been affected by their past horrific experiences, all the little details and insights into their personalities and the intricacies of their relationship were just so right, and so well done. This pulled me in from the first sentence. And there was a deeply lovely sweetness to the story that had me sort of clutching at my heart during certain moments. I love this!

Very well written, which is a rare thing on a fanfiction website. I like the references at the end, much appreciated. :D

One of the most well-written Cleon fics I have ever read...And I have read a lot...

I love how you write..you captured Claire and Leon's relationship well...it's not just about their chemistry, you know..they have this deep emotional bond that only comes from sharing a very intimate experience...like killing a bunch of zombies and escaping from a zombie city alive...hahaha

Scourging the sight for some Leon/Claire that did not include some random badly written sex scene or OCC nature of Leon. I mean I realize the guy is hard to write but seriously? As a newbie to the games and even I can... Oh nevermind. XDD But this was not only beautifully written, but also just wonderfully delicious. I loved reading all the thought you put into the tinest details... the guns, Claire's clothes, and their traditions.

As fore RE:Degeneration. Although it wasn't the BEST thing in the world, and while there are some... new characters that need to be pushed into a lake without a Government agent to save their sorry and hardly attractive rear ends, but overall was very enjoyable. XD

I digress. It was a highly enjoyable read. I really hope you pick up RE writing again. I'll certainly be looking for more.

Ok at first i was alittle miffed at you threats but i continued reading. and by golly am i glad i did. i love Leon and claire fics and this one is on top of my list

It's nice to read a feel-good story every once in awhile. I always like reading LeonXClaire fics. Even if Capcom never decides to make it happen, I find that most of them are some of the most entertaining and well-written on this site. This was certainly no exception. I giggled like the giddy little music nerd I am at the Queen references. In fact, Claire's jacket mottos are what inspired me to start listening to Queen in the first place. For some reason hearing "Fat Bottomed Girls" makes me think of Claire's into cutscene in RE2 (it's the "get on your bikes and ride!" part that probably does it). Anyway, very well done.

And just like that, you've firmly netted me on the Leon/Claire ship (not as strong as my Chris/Jill shipping, but getting me to like another couple in RE is hard work).:D I love it. I love how they're real people, I love how Leon's been making attempts to tell Claire his feelings, I love the weird domesticity they share by cleaning each other's guns and hiding knives all over the place.
