I really enjoy seeing Emmett in sweet moments like this. Even when he is being straight forward, he still manages to make Bella feel safe and secure. It's wonderful. And to have Rosalie not be the total witch that we saw in most of the books is a very nice change.

I am looking forward to seeing how she deals with Edward and what her reasoning behind whatever decision she makes will be.

Oh! I love this, it is so original.

That is a very interesting description that you have used and I love the cultural aspect. I know that twins, especially identical twins sometimes seem to have that type of connection that described, the blood leap. There have been many, many cases of twins that were separated at birth leading incredibly similar lives and occasionally meeting somewhere and just knowing that they were looking for the other. I think that the closest 'western' cultural reference I can think of. I think that perhaps Filipinos are closer to their family and the connections they create are stronger, thus why more than twins may experience it.

As for the story, I was expecting to hear that she'll have to be bitten again by Edward if she wants to 'live' but it is interesting to hear it from Esme. I like it!

That's a very interesting reason for why her body just shut down the way it did. It makes a lot of sense too if her body has been altered by the venom by that much, a lot of the vital processes are probably not working. Makes me wonder about her liver producing insulin too... but that's just me reading into things too much. It's bad enough that her body isn't producing red blood cells.

Okay, and the thing with Edward is weird too. Just what kind of connection do these people end up sharing? It makes little to no sense if you ask me. At least from the little bit that we've seen. Just how deep does this connection between them go in this universe?

Anywho, I actually get to read the next chapter, so I will do so and stop pestering you with questions.
