And excellent question, Yahtsee. I shall think on it. Perhaps because Whistler would be too predictable. And the banter with Spike was too fun to write.

Why is Spike in this story? Whistler I could see. Whistler would make sense. Spike doesn't.

Very interesting! I always sorta wondered how Angel seemed to get over Buffy pretty quickly. There was like two months of time cut out between seasons, but that still seems pretty quick if you don't get any backstory.)
