Writers, artists, etc. never ever seem to appreciate their own work, I would know since I'm one of those people xD
Usually I don't read high school (college, what-have-yous) fics because I've seen so many that I probably know most of the cliche'plot lines by now. But I can't put this one in the same category as the others. This one will be put with the other few unique-and-prettily written ones I've managed to find.
What makes us want to come back to read this again and again?
Well for starters, it's realistic. No-beating-around-the-bush or drama that drags on&on. Like I can pretty much see this happening in real life, and the humor... Oh man, the humour.
Where do you come up with these dialogues, seriously, absolutely genius Dx
Like in the beginning, I was wondering why the 'ell Sasuke asked Naruto about his woo-hoo until after I read the finishing line. Ah, so beautiful ; ~ ;
And of course, we can't have a well-written story without the most important ingredient, characterness-in-tact. You kept all of the characters' personality in tact, and I think most of the Naru-kingdom know how oh-so-easily it is to write Sasuke [hah, yeah right. I've never written, or ever in fact, Sasuke and even I can see how difficult it is to keep him in character in any kind of sitatuon, especially the awkward ones]. So really, give yourself a pat on the back.
You've given the right dose of drama ('cause with Ino, there's no such thing as no-drama with her around) and kept a good pace with the whole romance build-up; one of the things I hate most is a fast-paced romance. I rather read a story that develops the relationship over 100 yrs than in 2 seconds (exaggerating of course, but still).
And as much as I'd like to stay and type on&on about why we readers find your story so interesting, I have to start on my hw now (which AHEM someone here distracted me from).

I really like this story, cause it's well written and the characters' interactions are very natural! I can't wait for the next chapter~

Ok, list of things I actually like about this story... where do I start?

1) In-character-ness. You are a genius at this.

2) Not straying into cliches. In the two instances where Sakura gets drunk, I was preparing myself for cringe-worthy plots/embarrassing situations, but was pleasantly surprised when none appeared. I applaud you for this.

3) I love stories set in colleges. I dunno, something about the maturity of this setting that does not appear in the millions of high-school fics written.

4) Your ability to write about the characters beyond their two-dimensional persona. Like, when you were writing about Ino, it would be so easy to paint her out as a slut and stuff. But see and write beyond that.

5) The realism. I can't expand on this. It's just there.

6) The friendship X more-than-friends dilemma. You write about the characters and their struggles and the consequences that most other fics that for granted.

Lol. Ok, wrote too much. But these are just some of the reasons I like- no... scratch that, LOVE this fic.

Well, we like it because we're GIRLS with ridiuclous thoughts of impossible ROMANTICISM that have no lives because we sit around reading ROMANCE novels all day. I think that about sums everything up. :P

Actually, honestly, I didn't like this chapter... Not really. I mean, it was well written and moved the plot along, but it sort of just sunk the last of my Happy rescue boats, because I've been in an awful mood all day. Hence my semi-cruel, possibly offending opening statement (for which I partially apologize, and partially hope that you laughed off, because I was trying to be funny, despite my failure).

But, yeah. I think I'll just stop deepening this hole and PM you when I'm a bit more sociable.

Oh, and sorry for my tardiness.

I just read through your nine chapters. Hm. What do I like about this... I think it's just so realistic, besides the fact not everybody has friends like these, and it's just an awesome read.

Awesome chapter, and I agree about going back to friends, it is possible, in some cases. As for why I like this story, there is a lot of depth in the character, awesome pairing, great tension, and sauske has feelings, aw. Plus, the whole being friends thing is a nice relationship to see between the four! Can't wait for another chapter.

Well...yes. It's not the most interesting plotline from your works, but I still like it for some odd reason. I suppose Naruto AU school fics do hold their own allure? Does this help?
