If L died from a heart attack, how did he die from slit wrists and drowning?
I know its just a fanfiction but Im curiouse...
But then again, I should get a imaginiation *Facepalm*
ANYWAYS, as always, your decriptives AMAZE me, I love the mention of the rose peddles and the blood from L's wrists going into the bath water.
I found this both grim and sweet, and I cant stop reading it XD

I have all sorts of conflicting feelings about this fic. On the one hand, it's lovely and romantic. It caters to my dramatic side. XD The predominance of the color red is effective, and there are some striking images. Especially this one:
Light watched him fold his arms over the edge of the bath and rest his head on them, looking out over the city; crimson rose petals scattered over and stuck to his pale back, as though he was riddled with bullet wounds.
It makes me catch my breath -- and wince, because of what happens later in the fic.

But on the other hand, I can't help feeling that the premise of Light's plan is deeply flawed. Poison is traceable, for starters, which makes me think Light would be unlikely to use it. Also, a very large part of what makes Kira such a difficult criminal to apprehend is that he can kill from afar -- why would he want to be in the room with L when he kills him? Lastly, from what L says at the beginning of the fic, it sounds like Light set up the whole candlelit-bath thing -- and the card that he throws in the bath... it just seems... far too rash, to the point of OOC foolishness, for Light to kill L in the manner he does here.

...with all that said, I do keep on coming back and rereading this, and sighing and going to hug my L plushie afterwards. I suppose I would like at least a vague reference to how Light intends to get away with his evil plot. But the fic's still pretty, and that's probably what you were going for in a Valentine's Day fic XD

(eyes swell up with tears yet mouth is smiling in awe) Wow. That was... awesome. I mean, wow. I must love morbidity or something but that was such a tragic, wicked, enthralling pieve of fiction. I swear, you write magically.

It was so dark and riveting. Poor L died by chocolates, Light sort of likes him yet his twisted mind will not let L go 'unpunished' so he kills him in one of the worst possible ways. I could really feel such despair at L's death. Suicide? Cutting wrists? Poison Chocolate?

And his last words... and the way L deny his true name... aw, L. That was so powerful. I wanted to cry.

Great job. Wonderful.

aww...that's so sweet and sad...poor L...you know, I always wanted a more dramatic, yaoi-type version of L's death...and this is great! i really loved it...but now i'm all depressed. poor, poor L. :(

Very dark... I knew you would kill him, but somehow, things were going so well that you allowed me to entertain the possibility that L might live to the end of he story... *sighs*
Beautiful images and wording once again... you write such dramatic deaths - but I wouldn't have it any other way...

Oh my effing gosh. Why?! Why'd L have to die like this?! Gah. I feel sorry for him...T_T Oh well, you're story was good and well written. I love it despite the fact that L died so cruelly. ^^

OMG! This is SO... well... I kinda want to say cute... but the ending was like... dark... Not that I minded... I reckon if they made a Death Note Yaoi book thingy... they should SO make this how L dies! Atleast all the fangirls will be swooning XD You really have a way of describing detail so beautifully... There was one line that just made me think... WOW... (actually a few lines, mostly about the rose petals and blood and ect.) The line I loved was 'their lips clashing briefly like butterflies in battle' I think that was SO BEAUTIFUL! Anyway... before I go ranting my head off... this was an awesome fanfic... despite the fact that I love L and hate his death... the death made it so much... real. Awesome! -woots... longest review EVER XD-

I love the elegance of your methods of death, L dieing by poison chocolate with blood covering his lips only to then slit his wrists in a rose petal anointed bath staining it red... thats beautifully tragic and terrible yet sadistcally romantic... I LOVE it! you have truly done Death Note justice, your characterization was perfect. well done i love your work keep it up!

p.s I love the darkness of this piece its so tastfuly and refinely done. its a very rare and much appreciated find.

This is wonderful. Exteremly dark, but beautiful to read. Ironic to die on V-day by the one you love, and yet such a great twist. Great job^^.
