i like this story and how you brought out that remington steele isn't just one man; he's several. and by all means, continue.

I did indeed enjoy traipsing through Steele and Laura country! I like the idea of Laura's inner battle- her old self trying to be reconciled with her current persona. Clearly, Steele's mystery enticed her, but she just couldn't ever justify completely letting go. Good stuff!

I do know about the leaves believe me, I moved from the country where we had beautiful 4 seasons to the country where there is only rain and more rain...oh and wind, I understand the leaves completely. Wonderful story, any hopes you will continue?

Some well-observed character insights, especially when it comes to Steele. This reflects the more layered characterization of Steele that was presented in the later seasons of RS: the melancholy and sensitivity under the flashy front. Great that you saw it. Better still how you put it on paper. Nicely done.

Nice moment. Really well written, poignant exploration of both Steele's search for something, someone, missing from his life in LA, as well as Laura's silent witness to, as well as inclusion in that search.

The leaves must hold some childhood memory for him - maybe? Fascinating chapter.
