I was in Once on This island Jr. as Asaka, and i enjoy all the characters.
Update please!

The concept of this is wonderful, it really is. I can't wait to see more. As my show, as Asaka, starts hell week (oops, I mean tech week) I'm already sad that I have to leave such powerful characters and stories.

But my only problem is the change in character voice. The narrator is very formal, actually quite wonderful, but I find the characters to be switching from more of the narrator's formalness to a spunky and more casual tone as the dialogue goes underway. But all in all it is very wonderful and I can't wait to see more.

Well, I come back from a long trip and see your lovely review, and scurry over here to check out your fic - and I can honestly say, I'm wow-ed! This is a great start, and I love how you keep adding to the tension between both the humans and gods.

Having been in a production of OOTI myself, I believe firmly that you've captured and even added on to the essence of the play. This being Papa Ge-centric, I find that it's very similar to the fellow who acted his part almost - oh wow, I feel old - four years ago at my community theatre. No matter who you base him on, you have a wonderful portrayal.

Really looking forward to your continuation(s). Great job, and keep writing!

my summer camp is putting on a production of OOTI later this summer, so i decided to see if anyone had done a OOTI fanfic. i wasn't expecting to find anything because it is not a very well-known show. so you can imagine my surprise when i find not one, but seven OOTI fanfics!
i really enjoy this story, i love how it is told from the god's perspective.

I just discovered this fic, and I love it! The relationships between the gods are REALLY well-written! Can't wait for more!

This is really good. I have never seen Once on this Islan but I have the soundtrack and I love it. I've seen the Reunion reading and have watched a few plays on youtube. Heck I even have ideas of how I see some of the dance scenes playing out. I think this is really good. I always liked Papa Ge and Asaka best.

YAY! I was in this play when I was in 8th grade, and have been a fan since. I'm so exsisted to discover that there's a fanfiction section for this! PLEASE keep writing this! I think it's wonderful and beautiful and touching and-and-

Ahh! I love this story.

The characters feel completely right. I don't know why, but you've captured their personalities perfectly!

I also enjoy the switching between the gods and the mortals. For some reason, it makes it feel more real.

Okay, now I think I need to read the next chapter. BADLY. ^_^

Yay! more update! don't worry about it taking a while (my life's kind of confuising right now so I don't have much time on my plate).

I hope Papa Ge will be ok! please tell me he will be! What would happen if the God of death actually DIED? oh! and there's a question I meant to ask in my Chapter 2 reveiw: If a peasant or Grand Homme doesn't have that special mark how do they know who their Loa is? or do they even know?
