Nice. I really like it! You know what I think would go well with a story like this? A story about how Nami would react (considering her past) if Luffy ever decided to commit /real/ acts of piracy. Nothing major, just robbing people on ships and in towns blind while wearing that big stupid grin of his, or something like that.

aw happy ending. good old luffy he might be hella dangerous but you can always count on him to look out for nami. oh yeah and those other guys too.

I loved this fiction. After the Post Enies arc, I would not doubt that all the crewmembers would doubt exactly who their captain is.

Especially Nami, the one who is closest to Luffy! How you portrayed her feelings of unsure, with fear, was great. I would have preferred that her apology scene would have been a few paragraphs longer, or that there was a bit more LuffyxNami, but you still did a fine job here. Very nice.

At first, I was all Nami thinks Luffy is dangerous? Duh, he's dangerous! He has the strength of a monster! But when you pointed out that the rest of his family are monstrous people as well a light bulb went off in my head. I had never thought about it before but he really does come from a special line and it's kinda strange. I don't think there was ever a real chance of Nami just deciding to leave even if she was a little spooked. They've been through too much together. Great story.

Good job, of course the rest of the crew would be worried about Luffy's family, even if he doesn't know his father or rarely sees Garp or Ace

Aw, that was great. I swear, no one knows these characters better than you! Everything from Nami's thoughts on Luffy's family to the way you describe Luffy eating is so perfect. Sanji's interaction during it all was also a very nice touch.

The end was especially sweet. "Great! I wouldn't be anything without you."-- I'm going to love that line forever.

as for nami being scared of luffy, that is very understandable hell luffy's scary enough when he gets pissed add the fact that he has such a dangerous family and i could see why she'd be scared of him

That was... really good. It really is spooky to think of how intense and frightening the people of Luffy's family are when they exert their own unbeatable influence in every endeavour. I have to give you props for taking something that people probably don't give much thought to, and realistically showing how someone close to Luffy might feel about the mystery that is his family. I like how you also showed a serious side of Luffy without deviating from his basic personality. Thumbs up!

*happy noises* Ive been waiting for a fic like this. Luffys lineage fascinates and Ive always wondered what the crew would think of it, its not explored as much as Id hoped in the manga/anime and I was waiting for some great fanfiction to fill in those blanks in a way.

Ive never honestly thought about them being afraid of Luffy but now after reading your fic it seems more likely then anything. Well everyone except maybe Zoro who I believe kinda knew from the start.

Ive forgotten what Im talking about now...ah anyway awesome story wonderfully written and painfully in character! Love it!

Nami's reaction understandable reaction is what makes this fic so good. Luffy not understanding his own family is even more IC then Nami freaking out, which is kinda the topping, ya know? Because only everybody else would get it and be understandably awed by it, and not Luffy...Come on, Vice Admiral for a grandfather? Most Wanted Man as a father? Fire Fist Ace as a brother? Where's your *ego*, man?

Ya know, this review is starting to look as long as the fic...I think I'll stop now...

(P.S. I thought the ending was exceptionally cute, as was Sanji's talk and being nice to Luffy and actually making him something(shock shock) Maybe you should write the same sorta scenario for the others? Ya know, just to see Usopp freak and Zoro not particularly caring...oh yeah, he wasn't there for that tidbit was he? Well, Zoro finding out and then not particularly caring then...XD)

Huh, I never figured any of the characters would find that concept scary. Great job, as usual!

Aw! Ok that was a cute story! intense at some points but easily transitioned to comedy. Loved it!
