You totally captured the moment! (I saw the pic on devianart first, and then came here to read your story!) Seriously i teared up a bit! You did an AMAZING job!

I liked it a lot. Very zutarian like. Mostly what should have happened. However, unfortunately since Zuko and Katara have never showed such powerful affection, i think it was brought on a little too strong. It should have probably been slowly rising up to the moment.
