Thank you for doing such an excellent job with one of my favourite characters. It was compelling, thought provoking, and probably one of, if not the best, stories in the Animorphs tab.

I just realized I didn't review the last chapter...Gotta tell you I loved the story and your writing style. You didn't rush things, and you made the characters look so real. I just hope Tobias won't end up as a nothlit in this AU =).

This was cool. Almost seems too simple that he'd wind up with them after all, but I really like how you worked Grace into it. At first I was dubious that he would happen to know about the Yeerks, but it was a nice take. Have you considered whether he becomes a nothlit in this AU?

Great story. I wonder if it's better to be outcast if you're trapped in morph, or forced out but still human.

wow, just wow, an amazing and original story told with great detail and a fresh perspective, the best alternative universe fanfics ive ever read. you ended it at the right moment too, it would have been a completely different flavor if it carried on into his morphing. Great job tying in the one who got away on horseback in the first book.

I only found this story today but it's extremely awesome. I love the whole idea, your plot, your style, your characterization... EVERYTHING! Having forgotten almost everything I remember of the Animorph series, I remember Book #23 and this scene-- it was my favorite and I'm awed at the justice you did it. You are a truly talented writer and I just want to say thank you so so so much for sharing your considerable talents with us!

Tobias changed so much...I think I like him this way too. He's not confident but at least he's strong minded. Too bad Rachel is acting weird around him...but since there are only two more chapters to go, I guess they'll work things out soon =)

What a very intriguing start. It’s so great to know that there are still decent Animorphs writers around- I really like your writing style and your Tobias voice, and now I’m very curious to what’s in store! I wonder how he will cross paths with the rest of the gang- pretty wild that he thinks Jake and Rachel are Controllers. For some reason, I found it cute that he waved at the northern harrier, haha. I like his quiet determination-- maybe he’s still loser, picked-on Tobias in this incarnation but he’s still *fighting*, still lovably sardonic, still himself.
I also love your shout-outs to canon—-Tobias joking about shrinking rays and surveillance, heh. Those are always great additions when reading an AU fic.
I’m sad about what happened to Grace- I really liked her!
My only suggestion is to edit the chapters- I detected a few typo and grammatical errors. Write on! Can’t wait for the next chapter.

I'm curious now, why Rachel and Ax are trying to make contact with Tobias, do they know anything about his relationship with Elfangor? Also, Cassie, being Cassie must perceive something odd about all this...or maybe not. Well, I guess I'll have to wait till Wednesday =)

P.S. poor Grace =( I really liked her. I just read "Jumper" and Tobias and Grace reminded me of the relationship between Millie and Davy =P.
