This is a very intriguing premise. I've been in the Navy myself and this comes off as very believable within naval protocol. I would still expect Batgirl to be court martialed for kneeing the Senator. Yes I know, he deserved it, but the legal action would be for Commander Harris's protection. Court martial, found guilty and fined the sum of $1, and her record expunged after 1 year if there were no other incidents. That way the senator can't come back on her later. She has been tried and punished. The writing is a bit rough, technically, but it's still an enjoyable read. I'm thinking that the made up language was actually made up by his parents and they had historical family knowledge that they didn't share with anyone, including their children. Or not all their children. In any event, I am looking forward to the next chapter with great anticipation. Thanks so much for sharing.
