What can I say that I haven't said before? God, your writing never ceases to leave me in awe! Your style and choice of words have such a quiet dignity to them, especially in this story, and you still manage to put a little humor in it. _ I really cannot wait till the next part (I especially am curious about what Gaz's gift to Dib was), and I just know it's going to be very interesting when Zim gets more involved. Why do I get the feeling I'm gonna need a box of tissues for the ending? _ Hehehe! Anyhoo, this is such a brilliant fic, I hope you write more very soon!

I survived the second biggest shopping day of the year, and am now one Zim-beanie richer. Can't wait for the hoodie to show up in the local HT. It no snow here, either, it hasn't snowed in Memphis in years. All we get is Ice Storm. Yucky. But enough of my blabbering on such menial matters, on to what's really important! You have truly outdone yourself. As ridiculously incredible as all your other fics are (no one should have that much talent! _), I think this one will surpass them by far. I think you're going to get very deep with this (as if you haven't already), and are going to have a lot to say with this fic. This chapter was so bittersweet, the irony of his life taking such a turn at the same time as it starts looking up is just painful. This is a really difficult subject to handle, probably one of the hardest, because it's so difficult for people to deal with the emotions it brings up. Often a person can deal with their eventual mortality, but death in this manner is a whole other matter. It's easy to just refuse to think on such things. But you're thinking of them and forcing the reader to, too. Good gravy I've talked too long! I've never written a review like that before _. But then, this is an exceptional fic. Sorry for taking up so much space, just had to say it. I'll just finish with saying I REALLY want to see how Zim's going to handle it. I'd dream of an ending involving some magical alien cure, but that would really defeat the purpose, I'm sure. I'm just gonna do something I can only do with the really good fics, and just enjoy the ride you take me on. Thank you for this, and I'm looking forward to the rest!
