That's terrible, and yet it made me giggle.

And I adore the continual references to the mysterious 'H' and 'W' and their perverse habits; the 'Mad Hatter' nickname is just too cute for words.

"You have no business being a Welshman! Fetch me a cockney at once!"

Oh dear me, dear me, far too much of this is quotable, I love this parody so much and I'm only halfway through it. It shows your love for and knowledge of the genre quite well even - indeed, especially - while sending it up. The little details are really what makes this whole thing work, all there to be noticed without being too overbearing.

(Oh my, was that a Mycroft cameo just then? Hee.)

After some glancing at other comments, it seems there is more of this delightful fare! I should wrap up this comment and go snooping for it.

Anyway, I love your stuff. You are one of my favourite fanfic authors. You have an excellent humourous touch. Your humour is never overpowering or too heavy and your characters are always in character (both your original characters and your borrowed ones).

Oh, that was lovely. You kept up the old Watsony voice brilliantly. "Only detective in Baker Street"-smirk. Reminds me of Baldrick's remark in "Blackadder: Back and Forth" about his best pair of pants also being his worst. "So they are in fact your only pair, Balders?" I'm going to read Book II now, but I have a feeling it still won't be enough.
