This was turning out to be a really good story. I'm sorry that it seems abandoned (not updated in over 2 years as of this review), as I was looking forward to reading more. I've put it on alert anyway just in case.

If I could I would tell Hermione that it's not hard to talk to Gibbs, that's just how Gibbs is. Something about him makes you want to talk to the guy. Unless you're guilty...

Anyway, wonderful story, kinda heartbreaking, but that's ok. Not everything can be rainbows and ponies.

Is this going to be Harry/Hermione? Non-canon pairings are a real squick for me, so I want to know beforehand. It's strange, really. I've read books through the mind of a homicidal sociopath, but throw a Ginny/Draco at me, and I'm running for the hills with my tail between my legs.

Awesome story hun! I give extra Pocky to those that throw Harry with a disability that's written the way it'd progress/happen in real life. Someone else wrote him younger, with Downs syndrome.. its really good. It's just nice to read people putting more real world situations into these magical/crossover stories instead of thinking inside a box that's been used one too many times, ya know?

Anyhow I'll shut up now. _ As always, I've enjoyed reading this story of yours and look forward to seeing more appear! ::waves:: Blessed Be! Ja matte!

you do realize that although you're following the sequence of events fairly linearly, you're jumping through them too fast. it can take days, instead of hours for results in some hospitals, and it can take quite a while before the chemo starts to show any improvement. also, when you go for surgery and have a limb removed, you're going to be too sore and groggy from the drugs to move around much, you certainly won't be walking for a few days. maybe you should separate the days or find some other way to extend the time because your chapters seem a little choppy to anyone who knows about cancer related hospital stays.
