Most in-character Kenpachi I've read so far, and I love how you pointed out the difference of dead and dying thorugh his perpective, and Yachiru's cheerfulness. Great story.

Oh wow. You've captured the very essence of Zaraki Kenpachi. I loved how everyone (interestingly referred to as insects) declared that he was dead when clearly, he was //dying// which made all the difference. The ending was gold, with Yachiru pointing out where his attacker was and as cheerful as usual, as if she knew Kenpachi would still be alive, that he would survive by mere force of will alone.

Very nice, very scary, and very much Kenpachi. Nice look at the character there. Good work.

Got to wonder why he's bothering with the infirmary though. Very unlike Ken-chan.
