This is a great solution to Charlotte's death, which wasn't really handled well, in my opinion (we haven't seen the full backlash of it yet, though). From what we've seen Daniel has a sort of selfish side, one that isn't afraid to try and bend or go around the rules in order to save himself or the ones he loves. You captured that very accurately here, well done!
