Being a trekke myself, I enjoyed this...started and ended very well...thought I would check out a few other stories..

this is the best story i have ever read by you! i really hope you keep writing this way, you've captured every character to a tee! and the borg-man, well, that certainly was a change. was he the assimilated Jim Carrey or smthg? hehehe, i love this story! happiness surrounds the last 4 paragraphs...especially the bit about the non-invisible man...my favorite part of the whole story!

The Borg! It has to be the Borg! I knew it the moment he said "half machine." So who was it? Locutus? Hugh? That Queen chick from First Contact or is it just Borg A? That was a good story, I liked it.

Not a bad story, however you do need to work on your craft a bit. Your idea to bring the Borg in was pretty good (albeit non-canonical, as the Borg are so far away Q had to bring the Enterprise to where they were), but you should leave the author-intruding foreshadowing out. Don't tell us things won't work out as planned, just write them not working out. And be more specific with your details. What lever? Trip would know. It's his lever. What did it do? It didn't seem to do anything. What was the Borg doing on the ship besides setting up your Trip/T'Pol closeness, which I don't think would truly be its intentions. It should have been more than a plot device. It should be its own plot. And is Engineering a cargo bay? How does it just open to space? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Keep writing, but work on these things.
