This was definitely different from the sweet, fluffy Punk/Lita fics you've posted lately...and I liked it! (As if there would be any doubt that I would) I like how you hinted at the situation that Lita had been in, but didn't come right out and say what it was. I drew my own conclusion as to what it was from what you described. That's something that I think is really hard to do, but you pulled it off :)
