I don't know why you only got two reviews on this. It's so beautiful, I nearly cried. The thought of any Doctor, let alone 10, actually letting down all his defenses for anyone is so mind-bogglingly powerful that it's almost impossible to imagine. Somehow, you managed to pull it off totally believably *anyway*.

OK, I take it back. The word nearly, that is. There's a tear running down my face by now, just from thinking about all the raw emotion you put in this story.
