Well, I'm in trouble. Here I am; I'm supposed to be working on finishiung my own story (I'm so close!) and then I come across your story and the next thing I know - holy crap it's four o'clock and I still haven't even started working on my story for today. Your story is just that good. It is unbelievably beautiful and the...depthness (is that a word? i'm thinking no) of the characters is just so well done. Mark Sloan is by far my favorite Grey's character (Lexie and Izzie come in second and third. Meredith comes in last) and I have never read a story that does him justice like this story. The way their friendship evolved into a relationship was just beautifully done and I truly think this story is going to end up being a McStizzie epic.

I always felt like the writers could have really done something with McStizzie. I'm happy, content with Lexie/Mark and Alex/Izzie, but Mark/Izzie ... they'll never leave me alone. They could have had such fantastic chemistry (in their few interactions, I thought they did). I'm really, REALLY liking how you're incorporating scenarios from past episodes and giving them McStizzie twists like they really could have had in the show.

Seriously, I felt quite miffed the writers couldn't have done SOMETHING like this on the show, I always thought that Mark and Izzie would cross paths and connect, sort of bond over their respective deals with Addison and George. But oh well.

More (actual) reviews to come, for previous chapters and upcoming ones. I can't wait to see the Mark/Izzie relationship bloom! =)

Wow, this is really great so far!

Just wanted to let u know that is not actually how the bone marrow extraction is. The epidural that u mentioned is done to block pain to the aforementioned area.
During the donation, the person will be lying on their stomach, the doctor makes several (1-4) incisions through the skin over the back of the pelvic bones. The doctor will then insert a special hollow needle through these incisions. There is a syringe attached to the needle to draw out the marrow. BTW this process is usually done in the operating room, but in sticking with the show, it happened in procedure room A.
Other than that, I love the story!

Cute and interesting. Good to see an update! I did somehow have it in my head this story was complete, though, so I was surprised to see an update (not disappointed - just surprised!). Do you know how many chapters you're going for?

Also, I totally don't blame you for being uninspired after the finale, lol. While basically all of this seas, including most of the finale, has been pretty lack lustre for me, those last five minutes with George and Izzie, the uniform and the prom dress, the elevator and the music, had to be like the most gorgeous scene ever and in my top 3 fav scenes on GA of all time. It completely floored me with it's unexpected awesomeness.

And you mention you had G/I plot bunnies? Please write them and I shall SO read them!! :D

I absolutely love this story...I have always returned to it and read it all over again. Please continue...I want to know the ending of the story and perhaps could u consider doing a sequel.
