The odds of Rory listening to Avril Lavigne are about as high as the odds of Lane listening to Britney Spears. As in, NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Lily Allen, maybe, at a stretch. But Avril? No way. Lane and Jess have had excellent effect on her taste in music. You're looking for Foo Fighters, Kill Hannah, Pavement, not Avril.

Other than that, quite clever. I like the idea of the famous (infamous?) margin notes being his method of telling her he loves her.

Please please please add another chapter. I would love to see what happens next. Great story.

nice! i was confused at first, with the saying and all, but you sure cleared it up at the end! loved it!

I can tell it's your first fic, but for a first one it's really good. The only advice I can give you is: try not to rush everything, take your time explaining the character's thoughts, the surroundings, details.

I hope you continue this, I'd love to see Dean's reaction and Lorelai's too.
