Shinichi before he turned conan would totally be like that so nevermind! it works, it fits with the story, and i like that!! great job, great writing. Ah, good! Both Kaito and his mother survived. It'll be so interesting to see where you go with this story and what has changed due to these new circumstances. I feel so sorry for Kaito though! He practically *lives* for attention and mischief. Trying to "blend in" 24/7...blech. Trying to picture Kaito being solemn on a regular basis is just strange. At least he has an outlet in his heists, however dangerous said outlet may be.
