Love the story.
... Come to think of it, I ALWAYS love your NaruGaa stories, though I haven't reviewed all yet. But, oh well... I have read you stories for... more than once obviously. Write more please?

I almost thought he pulled what Naruto tried to do. But looking for someone kinda ruined the possibility.

Wow I could not stop bawling my eyes out. It was that heart-wrenching and I loved every minute of it. So I wonder did Temari and Kankuro know where he was although I thought not. I am almost thinking Gaara forgave him too easily but eight years is a long time and in shinobi years thats a life time so I can also understand it.

okay. this is like my 5th time or something reading this story and it gets better and better everytime. this one actually had my chest all tight and in pain and not many stories can do that. good job! and i totally agree with one of the other reviewers, that sasuke adds a bitter taste whenever he's in a story.(sakura too).

All in all, excellent job! keep up the good work...

You had my chest in this ache for like... I don't know how long. I kept getting called away from my computer and eventually I told everyone to STOP so I could finish this story and make the pain go away! I like how you portrayed Gaara, and I think you had Naruto very in-character as far as personality and character flaws. I really can see him messing up badly and trying to make it right for eight whole years. The Sasuke part had me sad, it really is a sad tale and I hope the manga doesn't go that direction... that will result in one broken kid in me. But good story! I enjoyed reading it.

E! So good! It's so intense and bittersweet-- I've never seen this side of you! I don't care if there's no smut (partially because I know there's an epilogue full of it), all the sweetness makes up for it! (And that's really saying something! XD)

Wow. That was awesome!! I LOVED it!! Yeah... ok, you got me. I thought Gaara was dead... and then I was thinking, I wonder if this is a bit of retribution for our choosing the ending of "The Road Less Travelled By" to be fluffy.

But this was wonderful!! So much angst and then BANG! Naruto steps in and is a lovely, goofy guy who almost makes up for being a loser in the beginning! Yay!
...He was really awful though. I don't think Naruto really deserves Gaara. But! Then add Sasuke to the mix (which adds a bitter taste ANYWHERE you add him) and voila! Gaara/Naruto Angst a la mode! And Gaara wasn't too nice himself... telling Naruto all that stuff when he's just come from killing Sasuke... well, anyways:

CAN U WRITE A SEQUEL?

This seems different from you usual style of writing but I love it. You certainly managed to pull this off: angst without whining, drama without it being a soap opera and romance without it being sappy. Loved it.

this was absolutely beautiful. you have such abeautiful play with words. i got angry at naruto 4 being a jerk(i understood y he was), i lcaughed, and i almost cried a few times. definently my favorite one-shot

You nearly fooled me into thinking Gaara died.

I'm impressed with Naruto's determination - 8 years! However, it must have been painful from Gaara's perspective - he gave Naruto everything. Then he finds out Naruto was sleeping and in love with Sasuke.

I love how Naruto is willing to be with Gaara now - even if he is a "cripple". True love people. :D

I give you points for your dialogues! You can make your characters having deep and meaningful conversations without it sounding unnatural and forced; you use several layers of speech that gave to each character its own identity. *is impressed*

I get what you mean by 'jumps'; Naruto realising that he was in love with Gaara maybe would have need a bit more development (but that's just because I'm a huge NaruGaa fan and needs more NaruGaa moments!). Still, it's a minor thing and does not detriment from the flow of the story.

Not too late for the NaruGaa Valentine Love Fest Thingie! (offically ending on march, the 14th)... can't wait for your next NaruGaa story!
