Very impressive story. Incorporatng the Deathly Hallows is something that very few people do, and I do not understand why; it was very tastefully done. It was also a perfect blend of action, romance, intensity, and humor. The ending line of your story was perfectlly worded, and you are clearly a very talented writer. I sincerely hope that you have put just as much hard work into your sequel; I will be reading it soon, hungry for more.

I want you to know that I really like Gavin...he's such a mess! He's got to be part Weasley. ;-)

I had a pretty good idea who The Shifter was...add Goyle to the mix and I'm pretty darn sure of who it is.

Great story! That is so neat about the twins; they sound so very cute. Anyway, this was a good epilogue.

Looking forward to more!

Neat chapter! I like the family time. Although...the Burrow didn't have any dogs or cats, just gnomes, Scabbers, and the pigs out back (and a couple of owls). When you remember they had a ghoul in the attic, the reason becomes pretty clear.

However, Gin will like the dog and spoil it rotten anyway.

Congratulations to Arista and Drake! And good for Harry for having therapy done. (I still wonder if Albus went through Snape's memories to help or to scope out his spy, though with the Headmaster it could have been both at the same time).

I think Gavin's punishment is right on the mark. If Snape really wanted to give the kid a hard time, make him wait on Harry for a while and give Severus and Ginny a rest (good thing Snape isn't getting that bug, since he's been exposed twice over).

"None of them would have dared speak so to their Potions Master when they were that age"--snicker. They say that the memory going bad is the first sign of senility...Harry and Ginny _always_ mouthed off in canon when they could .

Anyway, very good chapter, and Draco is definitely toast, French toast.

Somehow I don't think Snape will be as surprised as people might think, since Gavin can already summon little flames by himself (and has, no doubt, read FIRESTARTER by now and wondered to himself who's been spilling his guts to that nice Mr. King).

I thought Ginny had brown eyes (which makes me wonder, since I think both Molly and Arthur have blue eyes).

Excellent chapter, and I love how Ginny backs Gavin. And I like how Snape helped her out after the Diary and everything (when you look back in canon, I don't think Ginny said very many mean things about Snape, although she always had plenty to say about Draco).

Anyway, good chapter. Harry's musings on guardianship and family are spot on, too--he was manipulated for the Greater Good, along with a number of other people, and that was not always good for the people, either.

I'm glad that they found Scout, though, and that Scout can help hunt Gavin--and find the Shifter.

Monkey needs to start wondering about who Slick is going to be selling off next, especially as she grows a little older.

I love how Gavin and Ginny hit it off--then again, given how mouthy Ginny was in canon, she ought to get along really well with another Mouth of the South.

Wow, this is a perfect end. I jus LOVE this story and can't wait for more! Thank you very much for sharing. The twins'names are wonderful, I think it was great of Harry to name his son after Sev, he is right in that Severus has always been there for him. Thanks again!
