I like this Minato/Naruto hybrid mindset he's got going. I especially like how he and Fugaku are friends. Thats some inspired writing there. _

I'm to blame when I start doing something that is broken but where's the rest?
The story is great although I've noticed only in the course. When I read the prologue I was not so enthusiastic art and found everything pretty much turned off but now I'm hooked on the story!
It's all very complex and plays well together. I also like the people you've introduced as the sensei of Minato. I was very sad when he died.
Surely you have the story planned out and the notes somewhere? If you want to get further write again, you should do that much!
I will look from time to time if not perhaps comes something new from you.
I'm terribly curious whether this will work on the account of the Mizukage with the village was burned by lava.
And I would also be interested in the Developement of Kakashi and whether he hir is also student of Minato. And if Minato (Naruto) is looking for a partner, where he grows less so distance from Kushina.

I bet it's Mikoto huh? I just got this feeling when you mentioned her in that chapter and I was like, I bet she's the love interest, for know apparent reason. I dunno, but I feel like its Mikoto.

I'm still a bit uncertain about Minato's goals. Is he trying to become a legendary figure or merely live up to the fourth's name? If he obtains adequate chakra reserves then senjutsu is a game changer especially because he can recall from his past numerous improved versions of the rasengan. The only techniques that I know canon Minato knew that this Minato has yet to learn are related to fuinjutsu or the finger touching ground sensor thing, which I imagine is slightly worse than sage senses.

Jeez I feel like crying. Yoshino was so awesome. I'm still a little confused why he got chakra exhaustion unless he was depleted sufficiently before the run back or got caught in a technique or his chakra control was off due to stress.

Wow that's terrible, but it's the life of a ninja. I wonder if Minato and the other genin were too weak to go up against ANBU in assistance or maybe the genin could have left behind some water or earth clones for a minute amount of assistance without sacrificing too much energy for their run. Yoshino still had lots to teach Minato even if jounin's tutoring chuunins is never done. Also I can only assume fugaku learned a ton of water and earth jutsu during the tournament. Also Minato knows every element... somehow either his great control was helpful in learning it, or elemental jutsus work differently in this story, or he trained in all the elements to prove Yoshino's affinity theory. It occured to me that Minato's weapon usage and genjutsu does not provide a very good match up against the sharingan, although his strategy and control are boons.

This is really good. I love the plot and the questions that are asked.

After a speech like that I'm surprised remnants of the original Naruto weren't boiling with excitement. Phoenix flower with shuriken on chakra strings, uzumaki style chakra chains, rasengan, uncopyable techniques... although one lame way to do that is wear baggy robes and perform the seals inside them or use a technique like kakuzu's earth armor maybe.

Apparently Jiraiya's team graduated at 6, so I'm not sure about the 'youngest graduate' title he's been given. Pocky is terrible... it's not even that sweet or calorie packed. I'd imagine if someone wanted to wake up from sleep deprivation the best way is to provide calories, but not too much volume since eating too much makes you sleepy and sugar can cause a sugar crash which will also make you sleepy. Also fire and wind ninjutsu is a nice combination, but wouldn't that mean he would have had to do elemental training for both elements?

In the old days of poker tournaments, Amarillo Slim would stay up for days and on his bathroom breaks would secretly fuel up with honey. People would think he'd never leave the tables to eat and it made him seem like a poker juggernaut and he embraced those feelings.
