And yes, Hitomi was awesome. When do you think Sakura will remember the key he gave her?

I love what you've done here. Sakura's contemplations over Hitomi's actions and reasons and what all that causes in her seems to go just perfectly with the manga. Beautifully written.

You're right
there's a lot of possible gray areas in every story arc of the manga but by luck or chance or manipulation or whatever, the mangaka always somehow manages to avoid the in-between areas between good and bad. And you're also right on how he's such a cool character but he dies. Usually the coolest characters in the stories/movies/dramas/ die. That,or the puppies. Which ... already happened once, earlier on in the story. D:
