Aren't all parents both selfish and selfless at the same time when it comes down to it. At least John makes it a point to be there as much as he can for his daughters (yes, daughters, not creations...as that is how he sees them), as well as support them and guide them as best as he can as long as he can.

Hmm, I never did look at it that way before, but I think I do have to agree with you there that maybe at present may not be a good time, but it does seem like the future is always open. And with time, perhaps the girls will be fully ready to have Sandy as more than just a "fill-in" mommy.

Yeah, could definitely see the rivalry between the two leaders being a few steps above what would be healthy for either of them. However, I do also have to wonder what would happen to anyone who decided to get in the middle of it.

Actually, I thought this chapter was really great. It showed the intimate rivalry between the two leader characters and their very strange relationship.
Nice work, on all three chapters, actually. Keep writing.

I don't care if you think the last chapter was crack. it is my first fanfic in a time now and quite honestly, i liked it. please continue to update. this and taking responsibility. yay. ;D

sorry i didn't review chapter two--i was too preoccupied, for lack of a better word. but i can condense my review into two words: love it. haha. i always liked mrs. keane.

but anyway, about this chapter--the one thing i love the most is how you kept the rivalry between them. far too often authors stray from this (i am guilty of this!) and i guess it's rare to see a story where they still fight. but i digress; i love how blossom and brick fight much more intimately, even subconsciously. that would make for an excellent chaptered story.

i could see you writing something like that. lol.
