As your story progresses, I hope that Jacob will be the true Man we know him as and not fall for Nessie's pubescent ploys of histrionic sexual displays.

Here a few things you might want to fix:

"...what might envelope between me and Jake..." I think 'develop' would be a better word to use here.

Also- "His chivalry may have won his way into mom’s heart - or more accurately inside her pants" is inaccurate. If you recall, Edward and Bella abstained from sex until after marriage. While you may have meant this, the content of the sentence doesn't accurately portray what you attempted to say.
