I was really bored today, and none of the latest death note fanfics looked very interesting. So I went back to your profile page to read some of your old stuff again and I realised I'd never read this!
I must say, I'm surprised! It seems really different from you're usual kind of stories. Or maybe it's just me haha. But I really liked this!
It's sick and twisted, and while I don't like the thought of L being a rapist, it fits here. I really think you've got Light's character right here - the fact that only when he's sure he's essentially "killed" L, because he will, one day, die because of Light, will he finally confess. It's very IC!
I didn't think it moved fast. And really, you can only make one-shots so long.

wow! I LOVE this story! its so amazing! and the twist you put in with the notebook not existing, and yet Light still being Kira was awesome! Actually, your version is way more believable than a notebook that can kill. ^.^
M, and your excellent at writing non-con! it was my favorite part!

I quite liked this. I think fast pace of it was a good thing, and for some reason I kind of liked the fact that there was so little buildup to their physical relationship. It's interesting how taking out the supernatural element completely destroys the balance of power between L and Kira, thus changing their relationship entirely; without the constant threat of Kira finding L's name, L is pretty much free to do whatever he wants. There's no reason for any of the complex mind games that happened in canon. Anyway, the ending was some poetic justice; I did not see the HIV thing coming at all (of course, HIV is not the death sentence it used to be, as long as it is treated properly...we were just talking about this in one of my classes today). In conclusion, great story! I think this is the longest review I've ever written, sorry for the rambling XD

Heheheh. I was not expecting that. Ha, L got HIV, and Light actually died. For some reason, even though I'm a Kira fan, I rather enjoyed this. You did a wonderful job, so kudos, and keep up the good work for the sake of your fans, since you just gained another one!

Wow, that was so ugly -- in a good way! I love how you portray such a darker side of the cold detective L. And that it actually ended in Light's death - excellent work. Very much the anti-love story among the other L/Light fics.

However... I'm pretty sure HIV is Human Immunodeficiency Virus. Human Inefficiency Virus makes it sound as though it's a disease that causes people to work less efficiently than before.

Your characterization was impeccable. L's coldness and inhumanity (for lack of a better word) really showed through. Light did go insane at the end, just like in the anime and manga, in a way.
