You're right, I liked the first chapter better. But it doesn't mean I didn't like the second one. I liked the ending more than that Tinkerbell-like girl. The psychological/emotional link they had, and I think Roy envisioned Ed with the clothes he wore during the movie, though as you mentioned the wheelchair it seems more a manga-based fic.
And I've already read a fic with a teen-Roy... all the cuteness you could think of...

Good start. I like the mystery and I like how it blends into his waking life. Sometimes you have to turn away from the logic of science and look in to the face of magic...just a little bit.
