So glad to see another installment of this story. I enjoyed going back and re-reading Ch. 1 too in light of Ch. 14.

I'm not sure I like John being a love sick puppy especially after how Teyla treated him and strung him along for so many years. I find Teyla a bit smug and selfish and don't like the fact that she took so long to finally decide she wants John. Does she really love him or did she just get fed up with Kanaan. I can't see her really ever loving John if she took so many years to decide. Teyla seems to get everything she wants and it makes John seem like a bit of a mug but I guess he is getting what he always wanted. It would be nice to see how Teyla would deal with rejection for a change.

As with all your stories, i continue to enjoy them and always look forward to seeing another gater101 story. As always keep up the good work

This story is so awesome! I think the characters' reactions to life on Earth are very well written, and having Tor call Rodney Papa Mer is SO cute. Very nice work! I can't wait for more!

Finally! The cat is out of the bag and they told each other how they feel. But, my boy John fumbled the ball (excuse the pun)when he told Teyla to leave. I mean, he has been waiting for years to hear she wants him and then tells her to leave. Ugh! I hope he recovers and finally gets his butt in gear and goes to get that woman.

All I can say is BEAUTIFUL!

The last line was the best line ever, poor John.

I so wanted John to tell Teyla to piss off. After 10 years she decides she now wants him and John is still hanging around waiting for whatever crumbs she throws his way. I was hoping that John was with someone else and Teyla gets to see what it's like to be the one who has to do the waiting. Is John willing to take the risk that this is what Teyla really wants, what if she tires of him like she did Kanaan and her people. This is the first JT story that I am actually hoping they don't end up together. Too much water under the bridge and John just seems too weak and gullible.

Im glad she finally made up her mind to stay with john. She and kanaan didnt seem to have that much in common to be together except for Torren and that they both were athosians.
He seems to be too wimpy for her anyway.
