I can't believe I forgot to review!

I really liked this chapter. It was such a good Scott and Alan patch things up chapter. Scott was every bit the awesome big brother and Alan responded in kind.

Just lovely!

Wonderful scenes between the eldest and youngest Tracy son. Ah, sweet fluff. And even the 'tough love' was great. Alan took the bait, just as any other younger brother would.

Loved this:

Sometimes it's the little things that have the biggest effect. Had Gordon asked the same question, it probably wouldn't have worked. But Scott's got years of practice under his belt, and his love for the kid is obvious, Alan can see that. It's all so warm and fluffy and brilliant. Awesome chapter!

So glad that Alan can finally talk about what happened...

After all, none of the Tracys need another bloody nose.

-Melts into a puddle of goo- Okay, *that* was the conversation I've been waiting for. Distressed Alan, Scott trying to make it better and managing to be frustrated but keeping his temper ... Alan just keeps breaking my heart throughout this fic. It's good to see him finally getting some of those BigBrotherly attention and snuggles he's needed for so long but didn't want to admit to.

-Sighs happily- And you posted just before my birthday, which makes me EVEN HAPPIER, because I actually asked for Scott&Alan fic for my birthday (Well, technically ParentalScott&Alan, but this is close enough). And I got it! You is awesome. ♥

I can't wait for more of this, and more detail of what's going on in Alan's head. Will we finally get to see him confess about where Gordon's bug bites came from, since no one seemed to realize what they were? And how graphic is he going to be for Scott? -Is not-so-secretly hoping for Scott to be incredibly upset and give lots of BabyBrotherSnuggles-

I'm guessing it's kind of obvious that Alan and Scott are my favorite Tracys by now, huh? ^.^;;

hey great to see another chapter i was going to read the story over when i noticed the new chapter and its great im glad alan is ok again with scott. cant wait for more.

Finally! Loved this. Especially loved that you didn't fall into the temptation to make Scott be too perfect. I like Scott, but tend to really find that 'perfect Scott' gets really old, really fast. You found the right balance with the perfect comment about Scott 'trying to keep the scarcasm to a minimum, but this was his brother he was talking to'. LOL. That would be Scott to a 'T'.

I find 'perfect Scott' to be highly irritating. But I love how you've handled him. He's irritated at his brothers and I love the fact that he seems to have a girl in every port. Trying to censor his thoughts about the 'hot nurse Mandy' were a perfect pairing to he and Virgil talking about Cocoa Beach and 'Ginger with the inflateable assets'. No, in your stories, Scott is a true red-blooded male, and it's a wonderful, refreshing change.

That said, the scene between Scott and Alan was touching. They really needed to talk it out, and I do expect that there is a lot more to be said. And I, for one, can't wait for the next update.

hey you're back! i'm sorry to hear you've been sick, glad you're feeling better. and trust me you haven't lost it while you were away. this was such a cute chapter and a great start to healing little alan. and a new shirt, snicker, i want one of those shirts. and the nurse? scott better hope john and virgil don't find out about that, or he'll never hear the end of it!

I'm glad you updated this :-) I hope the bugs/ viruses/ bacteria/ whatever they are leave you alone! This was such an adorable chapter. I just love the interaction between Scott and Alan. And I'm glad Alan is finally going to talk about the PTSD...

aw excellent chapter. You capture the sibling relationship perfectly, especially the way that Scott manages to make Alan open up. The whole tough love thing worked perfectly, and it seemed to fit so much better than smothering him the whole time! A really really great update! :)

I've just spent the weekend in bed with the flu, and I read this story from Chapter one to Chapter twenty. Oh. My. Word. I seem to be circling round back to Thunderbirds, and look at what I find?!?

I'm not even sure where to begin. Your characterization is spot on, throughout. And the story premise is perfect. Planes are just like traveling in cars for the Tracys, and a plane crash is bound to happen. Nice to have it be of a realistic cause for a change, and not some nefarious (unlike Gordon, I DO know what it means!) cause.

The slowly unwinding thread of plot of Alan being awake through the crash and it's aftermath, and none of the others aware of it is heartrending. (Gordon and the bugs were just horrific). How that is intertwined throughout is beautifully done, as is Scott's relationship with his littlist brother. And honestly, I think the 'Property of Scott' shirt is wonderful. And poignant when Alan has to give it up as ruined.

Virgil and Gordon in the same hospital room is priceless, as they tag team John. And better yet was Gordon's dreaming about needing a unicorn to go fishing.

But I think my favorite, is what I love about all your writing, is your dialogue. Jeff's sons are just absolutely appropriate for the ages you set them. And their dialogue absolutely reflects that. Virgil deadpanning 'Wanker' instead of 'Wanking' was classic, as was Jeff being suspicious enough to not fall for it, just knowing that something was off. LOL.

John calling Alan the 'sunshine kid'. I could just hear the scarcastic snarl. Or calling him the little rat. Exactly as a brother would. Even a brother who was completely worried.

Wonderful story. I'm following this one, and going back to read your other TB stuff with glee!
