I've not yet seen this episode, but I've seen clips of the scene you wrote about, and I have to say that you presented it beautifully. It really pulled me into the story and I got a great impression of what Lois was feeling. I love the 'jumping off a cliff' metaphor as well, it was blended brilliantly into the rest of the text, almost poetically. Well done!

Heartbreaking especially when you think about what happened with Lana in the next few episode.
