I enjoyed this a lot - Ham's brief scenes with Ruby in the miniseries begged for more, which of course didn't happen. I like your expansion, and I like the reactions from both Tyler and Angie.

There are neat things in this chapter, so who knows why the question foremost in my mind is: what's up with you and pajamas? Angie has a thing about them; Leo has a favorite pair. Does Merry? I can't remember. It's cute, and speaking as the woman who blew an embarrassing amount of money on a pair of pj's 7 years ago as a reward to myself for surviving the world's worst summer (and who is still wearing the pants -- guess I got my money's worth!), I appreciate it. Anyway, I'm all about noticing the obscure things tonight.
