LOL. That's so unexpected and funny. GOD I LOVE THIS FIC. It's the first Natsume yuujinchou fic i've read hurhur and i love it! Man,this is so going to raise my expectations for other fics ;P poor natsume-kun... but it just makes the story nice XD a bit of natsume-abuse is cool *evil laugh* THANK YOU FOR WRITING THIS FIC!

I read all seven chapters in one sitting, and thoroughly enjoyed every one. The pacing was good, the grammar and spelling good, and it really seems like the sort of story that would fit in with the canon. In fact, I think it would make a fantastic conclusion - all of the youkai cheering Natsume out of his negativity and depression, the many friends he made... brought a bit of a happy tear to my eye! And, of course, the Tanuma/Natsume part was the icing on the cake, and just as sweet. :) Thank you for sharing this!

I liked how you incorporated that certain element from the anime- I felt a bit disappointed with how the series left the reflections as simply a phenomenon without any harmful consequences till the bitter end (due to lack of Tanuma x Natsume implications) of the second season. Perhaps it was a bit too predictable, as to story development, since it's just like Hotaru's story, only, it turns out that the carp is a more formidable opponent... that, and I was hoping Tanuma'll have more of such moments with Natsume. Well, that's just a rant from someone who likes the pair so much.

I was quite impressed with the timing of Tanuma's self-realization, although I think it could've been better if a little more thought/dialogue would come from Tanuma. But I guess too much would make him out of character. You really emphasized on Natsume being a pessimist and while I do understand it's because he was under a curse, it's a bit tiring to hear about the same kind of memory that makes him feel sad (as in, majority, classmate rejection)- and explore a different memory (like that episode wherein a youkai even disguised as a woman to converse with him). Now that kind of memory would really haunt a person.

Enough ranting~ I know I've taken too much space. Well written! A little shaky with the pacing (as in, too fast at first, slow in the middle) but overall, it caught the feel of a Natsume Yuujinchou episode. Nice!

that was great! It was quite in character for Natsume to try and help the youkai, even at the end, I'm since Natsume didn't command him, Misuzu would definetly have killed Ami.

And that last part with the random youkai popping up was funny! Youkai, it seems, are a lot more agreeable to same-sex couples, especially as most of them think Natsume is his own grandmother! (Just sth that Nyanko-sensei once said, youkai don't really distnguish between gender)
