I think there should be a bit more in the present before moving to the future, but maybe a few months would be alright. And i can NOT wait for the update, i am totally addicted to this story!

This was a nice subdued chapter. No dying or almost dying going on. I liked Carol's bit. It was small but was a necessary bit to open up the possibility of Carol moving on and Amanda and Carol accepting that life can bring us new things.

As to a time jump, I'm all for it, though I'd prefer there to be something set up beforehand, like a wedding for Carol or something.

I like the hands on approach you've taken (grin). Future chapters, are you looking for ideas? I think this chapter alone has a few really good ideas in it. You could move a little into the future now that things are "normal" and could maybe take your own advice.

I would have loved however to hear what Amanda's 10 year thing was; you never mentioned it. This is a great story!

Maybe I'd have to refresh my memory of your story but I felt that Amanda would want to get married and that she might get sad when Kyle announced bluntly that they weren't getting married.

But then that's just me. Otherwise this was absolutely terrific.

Oh yeah, how old is Brice now? He always seems to be falling asleep. I have a 14 month old and although she does take a nap on most days she sleeps from 8pm to 7am but is an outright whirlwind when she's awake. Something to keep in mind.

Awesome chapter, as always :D and the part where Carol is moving on, that would be really interesting. Maybe in much later chapters you could bring it up again? (Amanda getting mad at her mom when they meet and after a while Amanda would just accept it)

Hi, I just joined because I liked this story so much. I've got a bit of constructive criticism, though. You're grammar should probably be developed a bit more. I've got a peeve about correct usage of the coma, and while reading this I was mentally correcting it every step of the way! I've been writting for about six years and if you're interested I'd love to fix any mistakes you might've missed. Let me know if you want me to read over and fix what you write before you post, because I know it can't just be me who has a peeve about commas and quotations and run-on sentences.

I would have to imagine Jessi will have moved on to someone else and not interfere or be a thorn in Amanda's side necessarily when she comes for Thanksgiving, right?

Another great chapter! This really has become one of my favourite "Kyle XY" fanfics.
Very kind of Kyle to take care of Foss for a few weeks, but I didn't think so either that he could handle so much responsibility on his own. Nicole will be a big help for a little while.
Also nice to see some romance between Kyle and Amanda. I wonder what their date will be like and if things will "spice up"?

Great chapter. Glad that Foss is ok. Since you mentioned Amber again, we've always known that Amanda can get jealous. Think you can add that in future chapters?
I'd also like to see more romance scenes between Kyle & Amanda and Kyle visiting the Tragers and Declan.

I'm glad Foss' operation went well...His recovery will indeed be long and hard. Maybe Kyle and Amanda can help him until he regains his strength?
Also I liked the little romance scenes. Kyle and Amanda really love each other! I'd like to see some problem arise in their relationship, though. Maybe something to do with Amber?
