i'd love to read a sequel of this fic. it brought me to tears. T_T

That's it. I'm speechless. It NEVER happens to me unless I talk to you or read you. See?? You have this power over my oh-so-eager mouth. There is something in this story that calls for silent appreciation and contemplation. It is great in its inevitable and truthful sadness. Both guys are so in character even in their afterlife. Itachi, who's always doomed to live through his loneliness, bears with this new unexpected loss with such pride and determination. And Naruto is again unwillingly caught by this cursed Fate, made to take his choice for the sake of everyone but himself. Now there's only one thing I wish. Let Kishi show more Naru on the pages of manga, with his eyes, full of silent pain, agreement and understanding,turned towards us, the readers. Because somewhere here there can be the only one following his adventures despite his personal taboo to never remember and read. Looking at the lifeless, warmless, touchless pages with deep sad eyes. Devouring the beautiful image of the person he came to love.

You complete and utter horrible person

I'm like crying now. I watched Doctor Who where the Master dies in the Doctor's arms and that turned my day into a crying/sad day and now! :'(

It screams for a sequel though... will you be doing one or leaving it where it is?

My mind is brimming for a sequel... lol, look what you've done! I might have to write my own little sentence just so I'm satisfied lol.

*Five years later*

It was cold, and it was dark, and Itachi watched the clouds gather, knowing that it was finally time for another hero to descend into this world. The comic had finished, yet he hadn't cared for the ending, sick of seeing the contours of his lost love's body in the pages of a story.

For that was all they had been; a story. Yet, as the lightning crackled in the sky, a spark of hope rose... maybe this time, just maybe.

Such a sad story, and a heart breaking realisation - but if the Fourth was still alive after so many years had passed from his death, maybe Itachi would still be when Naruto returns? It is another world after all, and the time might not be constrained to conventional rules in between the two. We can hold that hope, but we'll never know. I loved this fic!

But then again, Uzumaki Naruto was the Most Important Character and his name was on the manga. He couldn’t have died. Unless until Sasuke did. So Itachi’s next thought was “We’re finally all going to die! Apocalypse has come!”

Ya know what's weird? This is what I think of death too. I think that when we die we get reincarnated to another world, and worlds like Naruto and pokemon or something exist. Wouldn't it be awesome if we were right?
