I'm for some reason reminded of two quotes from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

"What is a man? A miserable pile of secrets!"

And.

"Let us go out this evening for pleasure. The night is still young."

They seem appropriate for this chapter.

I wonder if Rorschach will go for stealth with Veidt or if he will leave some sort of shocking message for him like write a message in one of his buildings in red paint that talks of things only he would know to freak him out.

After Dan and Laurie broke Rorschach out of Sing Sing jail, they retrieved his spare 'face' and clothes, along with his real journal. Rorschach definitely mentions the journal when they raid his apartment. You slipped up.

Whatever, still very good chapter. Jimmy running to his friends when he sees Rorschach and Dan is good, very good. It sets up future friction between Dan and Jimmy, informs Jimmy's friends, and warns Dan and Laurie that their son is up to something.\

Excellent Chapter.

Mostly good. Several small errors and confusing statements, but this stood out the most.

"The less Veidt knew, the more it would hit him later."

What? The less Veidt knew, the more it would hurt Rorschach? Or the more it would hurt Veidt? Too confusing, should clear it up.

Still, good chapter, Sally Jupiter and Rorschach scene was beautiful.

I do not know your political affiliation, but I will assume neutrality, hopefully I will not offend you.

The basic Watchmen principles are the same, right? So liberals dominate, and the like? If so, the Regis Bill was the perfect move. Conservatives would never allow such a bill to pass, because they know the guns can only be bought by law-abiding citizens, though criminals can always find ways to get a hold of firearms. A perfect opening chapter, and perfect move in the form of the Regis Bill.

God i love this story! It's strangely addictive. :) I love how you keep the characters well...in character. Also, i really like how they're down to earth, realistic and even have problems with each other (but aren't overly dramatic and stiring up crap). Also, i like the way their personalities change when they're in their masks. Cesar is cool and collected and Jimmy is a badass sumvabitch! On top of it all you have the absoultely fabulous tension that just gets stronger and stronger as i read. I get so excited when i see a update and the way you write...I feel WITH the characters. I feel the excitment and fear and tension! God, I love it! Please update soon!

This is, without a doubt, my single most favorite Watchmen fanfic, and seeing it in my email made me squeal, honest to god. As always, I LOVED it, and wait with baited breath fo the next chapter!

This fandom seemed to have had some life breathed back into it :) You aren't the only one who has just updated a fic. ^^

I love this story so much :) I don't care how long it takes you to update, keep doing it!! I'd hate to not see the end of this :)

This is excellent! I admit I'm a little leery of second-generation (third-generation?) 'fics, because the general quality is so low, but I've really enjoyed reading this and I hope you write more soon. You really seem to know what you're doing, and your character voices are outstanding--Rorschach especially, who seems tempered but in no means compromising. As he should be.
