This is an absolutely beautiful story. I love it. And I like how you didn't put Lilly with Miley from the beginning. It really worked out the way you wrote it. The storyline flow was really good, the characterizations were really good (I actually LIKE Mikayla now lol), and you're dialogue is really good. Actually, everything about the story is good. This was a really great story. I've read a few one shots that fit a whole lot of years into a small story like this, but none have done it as well as you have. Yours just flows better than the others and the writing was great. The characters really seemed in character and It was a great read. I enjoyed following Miley's journey and the end made me cry which is rare for fanfiction. Great job on this story.

Thanks to croaker001 for tipping me off that this story was up, because otherwise I would not know and then I would be sad.

Aw, I loved little cowgirl Miley and how it all comes full circle with her daughter, and Miley just picking herself up and carrying on after everything that happens, and how that common thread weaves through the whole story and ties everything together. And Robby Ray dying just about killed me.

I really liked seeing how Soup, Salads, and Secrets fit into this, and I'm glad that bit got away from you and you fleshed it out so much and put it up as a companion piece, because I think it really adds depth to this story.

Also, the idea of the reality show? PERFECT. I would pay money to see that show. (Possibly because I've always wished there would be a HM/Big Brother crossover.) And Mikayla setting them up was hilarious. This review is very disjointed. SORRY. This was a great story and well worth waiting for.

ALSO, SIDENOTE: Does this story mean that you know things about RODEO? If so, I may need to pick your brain, because over the past couple weeks I've become convinced that a RODEO au would quite possibly be the best ever Hahnnah Montana au EVER, and the idea of it makes me so happy I can't even think about the word RODEO without putting it in ALL-CAPS. As you can see. Anyway, I've done some preliminary research but I have questions about which of my ideas would be plausible and which are completely crackpot. (Actually, I'm pretty sure they're all completely crackpot, but whatever. Like that has ever stopped me.) Plz to pm me if you're willing to talk about this (and I totally understand if you are not).

oh man, the ending had me tearing up. he was able to give his granddaughter the advice he gave his daughter, that was just beautiful. everything about this was beautiful. great job.

Amazing story. I don't care how long it took to get out, it was truly worth it. It was happy at times, and extremely sad at others, especially the end, of course. You are one of those special writers with a true gift. You almost, like this close, got me to cry, which is saying a lot. Thanks for writing this wonderful story. Keep up the good work.
