Rather upsetting that Newman's Own supported them for any amount of time, actually. Seems two-faced to change merely because of profit when its likely they are supporting them in less obvious ways. *shrugs*

Anway, I don't normally read oc let alone foc, but was bored so...here I am at this chapter.
Um...so this is after Blitz and Spectre's hiding Wally's i.d.? Has Zatanna warned Wally that he's got temporary company or is she going to let him get all paranoid (see Zoom and Professor Zoom) about this unknown speedster? For that matter, Jesse might well show up. Or Bart, Jay, Max. You don't see mysterious speedsters that often and half the time it means trouble for the Flash family.

Oh, shiny! It sparkles in the daylight like Edwa-wait, wrong story review. Ahem, as if I ever would read...wait, this is a Flash type story? Yes, I remember now. :P

Love the mom's nicknames for things. No malice, just the way it was to her. Pretty funny.

Finding a new chapter of this was a pleasant surprise. I really like the way you're developing Sarah's character; she seems like a genuinely good, unselfish person but in a realistic way. It's always nice to find a female OC with a personality who isn't just there to be a romantic interest, though some OC romance fics are actually pretty good. This story's focus doesn't seem to be anything like that, which is really refreshing to find.

The conversation with Zatanna was intriguing, her remark about how not just anyone would have helped seems to have a slightly ominous significance. The explanation about the top is amusing; I'd seen Zatanna's backwards spell speech before but never gave much thought to the implications of that.

Now that Sarah is connected to the Speed Force, it will be interesting to see how she deals with it.

If Wally was against another speedster (assuming this IS the time of Wally as the Flash and not Bart)he'd have asked at least Jay Garrick to move. Anyway, Max was in Alabama and who really cared since a speedster could be in CC/KS within less than a minute anyway.

I'm glad to see this updated. It's very different from the usual, and that's a good thing. Sarah's personality comes through so vividly that it seems like she was always there in the background. The overall tone of the story is just fun, with the humor and little side notes that subtly tell just how bizarre even a "normal" life in the DC universe must be sometimes. I also like that it brings up the fascination with speed and freedom that is involved in the Flash's popularity as a character. It's something that seems to often be beneath the surface but not discussed all that often in the books.

Getting interesting.
