i loved this, your teen dean is so perfect, i kind of love it how he always gets hurt cause of the reactions it brings about everyone else, i loved his conversation with john, sadly there aren't that many caring moments between them, at least that i can think of, oh and i can just imagine paniced sam and caleb with dean all night, i really love caleb and mac as characters they bring such a great element to your stories, i hope there is more to come, i know this one is over, but i look forward to whatever comes next, hopefully with some wonderful caleb and dean best buddies moments!

Bravo Ridley! You managed to have Sammy be the hero in pulling Dean out of the oven and STILL get the fatherly love I wanted to see between John and Dean. And you did it in the way that IS John and Dean. Awesome job Ridley! I admit that I was hoping for a couple more chapters or a longer one, but you really pulled it off in this last chapter. And you even threw in an explanation of the justice given and due to the Colonel. The man really wasn’t human anyway. =0)

The BEST added touch…..”Whatever was asked of him, whatever pieces of himself he left on the battlefield the love for his family would always give him the will to carry on.” How much more perfectly fitting do you find “Carry on my Wayward son” than that? That last sentence put a big dorky grin on my face. Hugs and Kisses to you Ridley girl! Bravo!

Aww! A great piece about the traumas associated with entirely human evil. I loved Caleb and John going head to head last chapter, and Mac's little medical touches to save Dean.

I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to reading more in the Brotherhood AU soon.
