Yeah... Alice & Eric were cute together. Not in a romantic way, more dad/daughter. I wish there were more Alice/Eric fanfics. It's something few look into, isn't it? Including me... my mistake.

Very sweet - I love that this brings out Eric's softer side without ever being mushy and staying very true to his prickly personality. Loved the series of little vignettes, including the sniping with Taylor and Wes's teasing. Wonderful last lines, too.

I *loved* this. Eric's voice was just right, and his interactions with Alice were beautifully done. Great concept, and a wonderful fic.

So, you know what the lamest thing about a story like this is? Being a oneshot, it just slips off the first page of new/updated PR stories and vanishes into obscurity way too fast. At least, when a story has more than one chapter, there's always a chance someone new will see it when it gets an update.

Seriously though, I really loved this. You put so much thought in all the little snapshots, scenes, the interactions. It was a really different side to Eric that I wish we could have seen more of on the show.

I'd go into more detail about what I enjoyed, but then I might as well paste the whole story here. The scene with Taylor was priceless, just like the line from Wes about not using the throwing stars on the cadets.

I'm really glad I landed on this. An hour later, and I probably would have missed it. Sweet, heartfelt, refreshing.

Wow! It's been awhile since I've read a PR fic but this one definitely caught my attention! I thought you portrayed the Eric/Alice relationship nicely - they were definitely in character and yet, their interactions still melted my heart. Great job!
