TrisakAminawn 3/26/12 . chapter 1I would say 'when has Harry ever backed down from Dursley confrontations,' but starting the summer third year would be a good time to do it, considering how badly things went last time they saw one another. Still. Behind Snape? Or even more metaphorically 'in front of' Snape? He's incredibly proud abou that kind of thing.
Eh. Severitus contingencies.
It's over 600 miles from Scotland to London, and while Surrey / London, it's close enough that that broom was apparently doing about 200 mph, which sounds pretty accurate and completely terrifying. |
 Aerois 3/11/12 . chapter 8OH
MY
GOSH!
Seriously, I can't believe that I found this account. I'm kind of new to HP- late on the fad, I know. I saw some movies as a kid, but didn't appreciate it much. Anyways!
I've heard about you. I can't believe I'm actually sending THE Severitus a message! Wait, have I done this already? I've been reading so much Severitus (okay that sounds weird, somehow) that I can't remember if I've messaged you or not yet.
I think I tried reading another of your stories, but didn't finish it... But all that aside, I just wanna say, well, thanks! You started the Severitus Challenge, right? That's why Sevitus/Severitus got so popular. So, for contributing to this fad, I wanted to thank you. You're like a founding member or something.
I really loved this story. I know it's been ten years, and you may not ever read this message. I can guess you probably won't finish this story. But I just wanted to say how awesome it was.
Firstly, I like how you portrayed Snape. He was snarky, and mean, but he had a good head on him; he was smart. He had that trademark temper, but it wasn't over the top. And what was especially cool was how you portrayed a somewhat vindictive, mischievous side to him. When he cursed the Dursley's and was flying away with Harry, I could almost see that wicked grin on his face against a cloudy night sky lit by the moon.
Gosh that sounds sappy, but it's true! You kept Severus and Harry really in character- which is something a lot of people who write Severitus can't achieve.
The story was really a great piece of work, even if it's unfinished. It kind of leaves the reader with an open end to think of what could happen on their own.
Oh, and the part where Draco got chased by Fluffy was priceless.
Now I see why you're such a legend!
Ah, I've probably rambled on too long. Thanks again- for everything you've given the HP fandom! :)
Wishing you all the best, Aerois. |
