Interesting story. Little confusing to get my head round at first, there's a lot of things going on! But I want to know more. Keep it up! :)

I am so mad it took me so long wading through the piles of preteen Mary Sue to find this gem! This is a fantastic story! I love your characters and their relationships seem credible and sincere. Kerosene seems interesting, but I do hope you avoid the cliche rape/revenge trope. That's been so overdone since like the '70s. She deserves better and you can do something more original--obviously! Please keep up the great work!

This is definitely one of heck of an interesting fic, my dear. ^^ And I sincerely hope that school doesn't get to evil and bog you down with homework so much that you can't update this fic.

As for the female OC. You haven't mishandled her at all in how you have written her into the story. Perhaps work on her history bit so readers might see how she plays her part in the fic.

But I definitely can't wait to see what you do in the next chapter. ^_^

Sorry, I meant to stop by for a review much sooner, but I kept thinking I'd do it later, I'd get to it tomorrow, some time tonight...yeah, you know how it goes. *shamefaced*.

Anywho...

You ever get that feeling in a movie where you're hoping hoping hoping that the Horrible Bad Thing will be averted and the characters saved/protected, even though you intellectually know that there is no saving them? That's what it felt like reading the first 2/3's of this. The first time I read it, I had such a deep, empty, almost sickening feeling in my stomach. I *knew* Kaon would come to represent something horrible to Bluestreak, and I knew that "something" was coming, but I was still desperately hoping that Bluestreak could be saved. Heck, even after I read it, my imagination immidiately tried to come up with possible and somewhat unrealistic "saves" for him (mostly involving the underground fighting unit of the Femme Continget).

Major points for you for turning words into emotional punches.

I got the same sensation from the end as well. At first, I felt..."happy" would be too strong a word. I guess it's more "relieved" that Bluestreak is inching along the path of healing and recovery. Then I remember a few chapters ago, where "their downfall onlined".

Before, we had "the fake sound of progress." Now it's the "false hope of healing". Or somesuch.

I don't know if I'm anticipating or dreading the next update, but I'm at the edge of my seat regardless.

I was very excited to see more of this fic. Very well written, I'm enjoying all the insights into the characters and the way you've been devoloping them. poor bluestreak, but what was the training they were talking about? can't wait to see more, I'd leave a longer review but Im on a cell phone due to a crashed laptop.
ps, the movies got to be gone in 60 seconds.
