Lord, I didn't know it was possible to make a baby carriage sinister, but when Roy looked back at it and could only see its strange silhouette, it almost freaked /me/ out...

This is a very excellent start to what should be a very interesting livejournal challenge. Privileged as I am, I already know the basic direction of this story, but it doesn't stop me from wanting to actually read it, especially after getting to read this chapter! Your descriptive abilities are excellent, for the story plays smoothly like another anime episode in my mind. And I absolutely /adore/ the entrance of Cat; quite hysterical, with the huge eyes and all!

I only wonder why there was no mention of Riza at all in this chapter. I know that Roy was brooding about all that Maes has just told him, but considering the direction I believe this story is to take, I thought it was strange that she wasn't even brought up. I hope we will hear from (or about) her in the next chapter...

I also want to say that your title is pure genius. Oh, LOL, "The Amestrian Tails"... great use of puns. It made me very happy! Though I would suggest adding Roy and Riza as your two main characters in the drop-down listing. Your wonderful story will probably get more attention this way; such is the way the fan fic community runs.

So good luck on the rest of your chapters (though you don't really need it), and I can't wait to read more!
