ArionAdaya 5/4/13 . chapter 1This was amazing, I always thought that zuko and azula weren't the way way they are from the beginning. There must've been some point in their lives when they actually loved each other. |
anjaly 4/26/13 . chapter 1 Well written... The ending made me cry.. I have an elder brother, my parents say his name is the first word i called... :( |
lemon-rind 4/9/13 . chapter 1This was really touching. I feel a little heart-broken. Thank you for writing this. |
Miss Kyree 4/2/13 . chapter 1Wow. This is amazing and so emotional, well done. I love the your idea of writing it backwards- there's just something so haunting about it. The ages that especially stuck with me were fifteen, eight, five and three. So incredibly sad but lovely as well. Good job with this :) |
A MIdsummer 3/22/13 . chapter 1 From the present to the past. Hatred, Envy, Jealousy, Apathy, Respect, Care, Admiration, Irony, Love. Probably not in order on some parts but these are the emotions that seemed to dominate it. |
Tikitorch559 3/10/13 . chapter 1such an amazing start :) |
gabe 3/5/13 . chapter 1 beautiful story. definitely one of my favorites |
Silver'ssong 3/3/13 . chapter 1This made me cry at the end...I have no idea why |
DonnadelLago 2/22/13 . chapter 1Wow.. |
The Broken Idealist 1/28/13 . chapter 1I need to go hug my brother now. |
Woven Secret 1/16/13 . chapter 1This was so good! I almost was tempted to cry towards the end. I've always felt like Azula and Zuko's story was tragic. I mean, they are brother and sister, so they must've loved each normally at some point. Good job! I love how it counts backwards. |
Darrakk 1/12/13 . chapter 1This is amazing. Thank you. |
Demonic Personality 1/9/13 . chapter 1Numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 made me adore her 3. |
Lunar Hikari 12/21/12 . chapter 1This is ridiculously well written. I was actually tearing up by about age four, literally sobbing by the end. This perfectly fits with just how messed up the Fire Royals are - and just how they might have gotten that way. The idea that Azula might have once been in Zuko's shoes, been the less-talented one, is just too perfect. I had more to say in this review but the tears are making it hard to see the screen and I JUST HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS OKAY? I would love to read more of this sort of story from you (or any kind of story, really, if they're all as well-written as this) |
Guest 12/18/12 . chapter 1 This is a lovely introspective story! I can imagine this clear as day! I loved it! I think that Azula really did love her brother and her mother... she just wasn't capable of showing it the way that most people do. I can see Zuko as fire-lord trying desperately to help his sister after what happened at the end of the series. I can totally picture her spitting at him, calling him names, and refusing any sort of pity, but when she is left alone I'm sure that she would be aching inside, that a very small part of her would be pleased. Any-who, thanks a bunch for the nice read! :-) |
