Wow, Everyone sure is happy to see her! The bit where she reveals herself to Burd was sad, and it's strange to see Lenore/Lavinia crying. I can see Arquen twitching and wincing everytime Lavinia saw someone else, she was funny in this xD
As for Saeniel, I'm so glad he's finally been captured and killed, by Lavinia's grandfather no less!! But how can Arquen be able to confirm the Harlas?
Anywho, an absolutely AWESOME chapter, I absolutely loved it! Very well written and the emotions were well detailed! ~ BloodAndDiamonds

Now it's all out on the table. Poor Lenore/Lavinia, I have a bad feeling it's only going to get harder for her now that the truth is out. But I doubt she could have hid her face forever, so the sooner the better.

Oh my, so close! They almost found out! I think I spent most of the middle part of that chapter waiting for her to snap under Matthias' questioning!
Very good way of making the events of her 'death' click into place! I was wondering how you would pull that off, and you did it spectacularly! Although the fact that the daggers got stuck in Raeniels neck is slightly gruesome xD

Wow. Lenore is... very insensitive in this chapter. Maybe it's because she doesn't want to see Burd still mourning for her 'death' because she knows it hurts him more than anything else, that he thought she died because of him.
Anyway, good chapter, as always. I liked the part where Martin just goes: 'You stole from Jauffre?' And Lenore's just like: yeah, you're the one wearing it, so let's say we're even.

well...it wasn't the reunion i was hoping for in truth it wasn't really a reunion at all. but why is Lavina so angered by burd continuing to morn her for all these years? how sad that she doesn't appear to be touched in any way by this

anyways its intresting how she got martin to sneak out and i'm surprised he maned up enough to tell her of the day he saw her in fort farragut! wow that was really brave of martin. i liked this chapter its a great update! i really loved it so Baurus has figured it out will he tell Martin and the others? also would Jauffre remember her i wonder?

Thank you for Updating again; though I realize I have not reviewed in a long time - it was nice to be able to read a four- or five-chapter run all at once! :) I have to ask though, why does it seem like Lavinia / Lenore is angry at Burd, or hates him? She can't really still be so upset with him over his reaction to her infiltrating the Guard after 23 years... Or is she just so shocked that he still mourns her 'death', when she seems to hate herself so much? Or am I reading this wrong...? Oh well; still a very well-written story, and it can still make my heart clench for Lenore, and all she's gone through; but now I feel so bad for Burd and the others who knew and loved Lavinia before her 'death'... and Burd's lasting depression just breaks my heart... these chapters are, once again, a job well done!

Poor Burd! Lenore's being so insensitive reacting like that.
Hm, I wonder who else is going around closing the gates... And will Lucien be making an appearence? I certainly hope so!

oh...i nearly cried at the end i want to get my hands on Raeniel and his son so badly and well lets just say the torture room hasn't seen much use lately. i feel so sorry for burd you know he's going to feel guilty until he and lanvia are reunited and they will be right? i hope so i'd love to see that!

well what i should have said was i nicked the whole diary it was bloody damn hard too! yeah i've just gotten to that part its a very intresting read and i'm really glad now i never asked what kind of dreams he was having about me when we had tea that one time before his death. a strange man but undeniably loving of his family and cared a great deal for his people...i still say he's got a few screws loose upstairs though.
